In search of travel that inspires? Our Signature Journeys are tried & true trips which embody our personal travel style and ethos. 2022 Pricing is based on two people sharing a room and excludes travel over peak holiday dates in December and January.

All Signature Journeys embody the following trip elements:

  • Escorted by Local Guides: Expert local guides grant our traveler's insider perspective and personal insight into the culture, history, politics and socio-economic facets of a destination.

  • Independent, Boutique Hotels that are Locally Led: Properties with a true sense of place, led by local staff and responsibly managed.

  • Exploration through Movement:  Human powered-adventures are the most immersive. All of our trips have an active component to them - hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, trekking or participating in surf lessons or a yoga class.

  • Emphasize Social Impact: We design and recommend travel experiences that highlight social issues such as education, women's empowerment and sustainable rural tourism development in less-frequently visited areas.

  • Support for Environmental & Cultural Conservation: Through local partnerships and 1% for the Planet, we support reforestation and regeneration projects globally, recommend properties engaged in conservation and research and promote the preservation of indigenous cultures and wisdom.

Discover rich Arab and Berber cultures on this active and immersive Morocco adventure. Explore maze-like passageways and spice souks in the medina of Fez, traverse the Atlas Mountains and sample authentic Berber hospitality, trace ancient caravan routes through the Sahara Desert and finish in the bustling, creative, colorful cacophony of Marrakesh. Most of all you'll connect with Moroccan people hailing from several different cultural groups with distinctive traditions, but with a shared pride in offering guests the warm and welcoming hospitality that is so characteristic of Islamic cultures.
